Venue change for Va’a and Sailing at Pacific Games

Apia, SAMOA — The Va‘a and sailing competitions at the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa will now take place at a new venue.

The events were originally scheduled for Mulinuu and Vaiusu but will now be held at Mulifanua, just under an hour outside of the capital Apia, on the north-western tip of Upolu.

The Pacific Games Office said the change was made after several obstacles were encountered while planning for the use of Vaiusu Bay and Mulinu‘u peninsula.
