Samoa warned to take precautions amid storm threat

Apia, SAMOA — Samoans are being warned to take precautions over the next few days as the country continues to experience heavy and frequent rainfall.

The Samoa Observer reported the Samoa Meteorological Service's, Tumau Neru, saying a trough of low pressure is lying over Samoa and causing continuous rainfall and occasional thunderstorms.

Samoa's Met Office has urged the public to take extra precautions over the next few days..
