Remains of Hollywood actress return to paradise in Samoa

Apia, SAMOA — A star of the 1950's Hollywood movie, Return to Paradise, is returning to Samoa next week.

Roberta Haynes, who lit up the silver screen opposite Gary Cooper, died in April and her family is having her ashes interred at a chapel overlooking the beach made famous by the movie.

A memorial service will be held for the actress on 23 July at Samoa's Lefaga beach, known to many as Return to Paradise beach.

Roberta Haynes was 91.
