Papali'i Grant Percival passes away

Honolulu, HAWAII — Papali'i Grant Percival, modern Samoa's ultimate renaissance man, passed away in New Zealand, on Dec. 19, 2023. Grant and his beloved wife Vaina enjoyed a visit to Kualoa Beach Park, Windward Oahu, Hawaii to view Chinaman's Hat in 2016.

 A member of the Aiga Sa Malietoa, Grant could have been anything he chose to be in life. He was a selector for Samoa's beloved Manu Samoa, he was CEO of Polynesian Airlines, he reinvigorated his family's Samoa Natural Food's snack enterprise, and he advised Samoa's Government on many boards, and he supported his beloved wife Vaina's participation in their family's fa'a Samoa responsibilities.

But, most importantly he had the time and affection for all persons in all stations of life.
