Contestants named for 2023 Digicel Miss Samoa pageant

Apia, SAMOA — Ten Samoan beauties will be contesting for the prestigious 2023 Digicel Miss Samoa crown and for the first time a beauty with a disability will be among those vying for a crown.

Miracle Afele will represent the Association of Sign Language Interpreters and makes history for the Miss Samoa pageantry.

There are only three overseas contestants and the local beauties hope to break the dominance of overseas contestants and their claim on the Miss Samoa title.

According to the organisers, this is promising to be an event to remember starting at the end of the month.

The reigning Miss Samoa Haylani Kuruppu took the liberty of announcing the contestants on her first visit to Digicel headquarters.
