Catering truck damage delays Samoa Airways jet

Apia, SAMOA — Samoa Airways has confirmed that it's only aircraft was damaged when the catering truck smashed into the rear service door last Friday.

It delayed the flight to Auckland by nearly a day while repairs were undertaken.

The delay forced Samoa Airways to charter a Qantas 737 for its service to and from Sydney at the weekend.
