Fiafia Sunia promoted to First Class Petty Officer in USN

CDR David M. Zielinski, (USS FORT MCHENRY) presents the letter of appointment to ET1(SW) Fiafia Dwayne Sunia, USN, to the rank of E-6, First Class Petty Officer, on 10AUG18.

"Making E-6 in 5 years is an outstanding accomplishment, and it proves that hard work and dedication are two major factors to my success," Sunia said.

Sunia, is the youngest of Fofo and Aioletuna Sunia's children, and is from the village of Petesa Uta. He graduated from Tafuna High School, and the University of San Francisco. 

He is married to Trude Ledoux of Pago Pago and has two children, James Tusitala (8) and Fiafia Mark-Jason (3).
