Police officers responded to the call and upon arrival at the scene, they met up with the suspect’s mother and interviewed her regarding what happened.

Another witness and the suspect’s sister were also interviewed while other officers apprehended the suspect and placed her inside the police unit.

According to the suspect’s mother, the suspect came home and tried to find a way inside the house. She informed the officers that this isn’t the first time that the suspect had done this. As a result, she and her other family members decided to put locks on every door and entrance into their house.

The mother explained that the suspect tried to break in through their back door and they managed to stop her. However, Faith went to the front and started banging on the screen wire of the windows.

The mother claimed that she tried to hold the suspect back but she resisted and walked to where their Wifi box was and broke it using her hands. The mother said that this is not the first time Faith has damaged their Wifi box.

The first incident happened about two weeks ago and it cost them over $200 to have it fixed.

Faith’s mother stated that an individual (later identified as witness/ victim) attempted to calm the suspect down, but the suspect slapped him in the mouth and that’s when she contacted the TPS for assistance.

According to the witness/ victim, the suspect’s mother asked him to help put locks on their doors. The victim explained that the suspect came and started banging on the screen wire of the windows and later broke the Wifi box. He stated that he tried to stop the suspect but she slapped him in the face, scratched his arm and also bit his hand.

The suspect’s sister was interviewed and she informed officers that this is not the first time they have called the police on her sister and she’s tired of it. She claimed that the suspect cursed at their mother and also damaged and stole items from their home.

She further stated that they had just got their Wifi box fixed two weeks ago and Faith has damaged it again. The suspect’s sister also requested the authorities to have the suspect removed from their residence.

Faith Tago was transported to the TPS for further investigation. Upon arrival at the station, she was Mirandized to which she understood and refused to make statement.

EMS was also contacted and did an assessment on the victim who sustained minor scratches and didn’t need further medical attention.

The suspect was later booked and confined at the Tafuna Correctional Facility to await the next available sitting of the District Court.
