Shriners doctors on island

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — A medical team from the Honolulu Shriners Hospital is holding free clinics for children under 18. They are checking on children with bone problems, cleft palates, club feet and/or burn conditions.

The clinic began this past Friday at the Orthopedic Clinic at LBJ Hospital and will continue to Thursday, July 17. Registration is required at the Orthopedic Clinic.

Taotasi Archie Soliai of the Shriners Club of Pago Pago said children with serious conditions would be taken off island for treatment with all costs covered.
