RHEMA Bible Training Center Pago Pago launches 2025 classes

The RHEMA Bible Training Center Pago Pago Class of 2024

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — RHEMA Bible Training Center Pago Pago kicked-off its 2025 academic year this Tuesday, February 4th, starting with a vibrant Orientation Week which ends today.

The school, which is part of the globally renowned network of Rhema Bible schools spanning the Pacific and beyond, was established in the Territory two years ago. It is the fourth one established by Uttermost Ministries Inc. in the Pacific.

The first Rhema Bible school established in the Pacific is the RHEMA Bible Training College South Pacific in Apia, Samoa which was established in 1997 by Kelly and Pattie Duininck.

By 2003, the school was fully established as a three-year inter-denominational educational institution recognized by the Samoa government with students from different countries of the Pacific.

Two other RHEMA Bible schools were established in Nadi, Fiji and Port Vila, Vanuatu in the following years.

Then on August 1st, 2023, the RHEMA Bible Training Center Pago Pago opened its doors to the public on the second floor of the GHC Reid building at Fagatogo opposite the Tutuila Store next to the old Sadie Thompson Hotel.

This year marks an important milestone in the history of the two-year inter-denominational ministerial training center since its inception two years ago.

According to the school's Director of Student Affairs and senior lecturer Pastor John Alailima, the six-member founding class which graduated last November can now use what they have learnt to serve God in whatever capacity in their respective churches.

"I am also very pleased and blessed to announce that two of last year's 2nd year graduating class are continuing with the Call of God to train further for the work of the ministry and the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ," Pastor Alailima stated.

"They have enrolled this year for our 3rd year program at Rhema Bible Training College South Pacific in Apia and have already left for Apia, Samoa. After graduating with their Ministerial Diploma, they can stay on for the 4th year Internship Program where they will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Ministry."

RHEMA Bible Training Center Pago Pago is one of five Rhema schools launching their classes this week, with a sixth, Rhema Cook Islands, scheduled to open later this year in Rarotonga. This growth highlights the increasing demand for quality Bible-based education in the region and the global influence of the Rhema ministry.

As the 2025 academic year begins, RHEMA Bible Training Center Pago Pago remains committed to equipping students with the knowledge and tools to positively impact their communities, not only in American Samoa but across the South Pacific region and the world.

This year’s incoming students can look forward to a year of transformation, growth, and preparation for ministry. With a dynamic curriculum, practical training, and a supportive environment, RHEMA Bible Training Center Pago Pago is ready to continue its mission of raising up leaders who will make a lasting difference in their communities.

Enrollment for the 2025 academic year is now open, and prospective students are encouraged to apply online or visit the school office located on the second floor of the GHC Reid Fagatogo Building in Fagatogo.
