Washington, D.C. — Congresswoman Uifa’atali Amata released the following statement in celebration of Mother’s Day:
“God bless all of our mothers! A mother’s love is a powerful force for good in this world, and in the lives of her children. ‘Her children rise up and call her blessed,’ (Proverbs 31:28). Thank you for all your years of loving care, hard work, and total support you provide to your family. This weekend is a perfect time to tell your moms how much you love, appreciate, respect and value them, and for some of us, a time for a special memory of a mom that directed us by training, advice, and most of all, her example. (Proverbs 22:6)
“May your children bring you a lifetime of joy, as mine have! To each one of you, thank you for all you do, and have a wonderful, happy Mother’s Day!”
