Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Interior’s Office of Insular Affairs Grant managers are in the territory conducting a review and assessment of a number grants and projects in American Samoa. They will be meeting with selected ASG agencies that play pivotal roles in the implementation and management of the Capital Improvement Program's (CIP), Energizing Island Communities' (EIC), and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) grants, and projects.
“American Samoa welcomes the collaboration and support of our federal partners as they undertake the important task at hand,” Governor Lemanu P.S. Mauga said in a press release issued Wednesday, March 13. “The presence of federal representatives underscores the shared commitment to ensuring transparency, accountability, and effectiveness in the management of critical infrastructure investments in our territory.”
The governor expressed his gratitude to the federal counterparts for their ongoing collaboration and cooperation in advancing the development priorities of American Samoa.
