Gov Lemanu P.S. Mauga got a chance to see StarKist Samoa production of the Meal, Ready to Eat (MRE) products for the US military when he visited the cannery on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024. Inspectors from the USDC and USDA supervise the MRE production while inspectors from the Defense Logistics Agency of the US Dept of Defense audit the quality system for the MRE.
