2024 Lunar Calendar celebrates fishing in the territory

Honolulu, HAWAII — The Western Pacific Regional Fishery Management Council is pleased to announce the availability of the 2024 traditional lunar calendar for American Samoa and other territories. The 13-month calendars aim to raise awareness about traditional ecological knowledge and enhance community involvement in fishery management.

Lunar Calendars for the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI), Guam and HawaiʻI are also available.
