Sam 291 is a Samoan Journalism class which ended last week Monday and is one of the required courses for teachers who are taking part in the Samoan Teaching Certification program at the American Samoa Community College (ASCC) — Samoan Studies Institute (SSI). Its main objective is to develop proficient and qualified teachers in the Samoan language to teach the Samoan language and culture in all schools in the territory.  [courtesy photo]
