Samoa's new 60 tala note photo & caption

Celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Samoa's Independence a distinctive 60 Tala banknote was introduced last week symbolizing the historic moment when the Samoa flag was proudly hoisted on January 1, 1962. The design features father and daughter, the front a portrait of the first female Prime Minister of Samoa, Fiame Naomi Mataafa in the 60th year of Independence.
