The U.S. Coast Guard has concluded the Operation Tui Moana Air Rider Mission in partnership with Samoa’s Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Ministry of Police, Prisons and Corrections, patrolling Samoa’s Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) and maintaining maritime law enforcement. “This is a collective effort to ensure Samoa’s EEZ is protected from any illegal fishing and ensure security of its borders”, said U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Noriko Horiuchi.
