Young Ambassadors treated with Hawaii ‘adventure-day’

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — American Samoa’s Young Ambassadors, along with their chaperones, were invited to embark on an early morning hike at the breathtaking Makapu’u heights on Oahu and before the rest of their adventure-filled day, they had breakfast at the elegant Hale Koa buffet.

Governor Lemanu P. S. Mauga and First Lady Ella, in an ASG press release underscored the significance of prioritizing American Samoa's youth, recognizing them as prospective leaders of our community.

 Later in the day and on into the evening the Ambassadors were immersed in Polynesian culture and heritage, spending the evening at the Polynesian Cultural Center enjoying the performances and engaging in the activities.

Ending the state-side trip, the Am. Samoa delegation attended the EFKAS Kanana Fou Auina — Hawaii church on Sunday May 7, 2023 where Rev. Elder Falelua Lafitaga leads the congregation.
