2022- 2023 Secondary Speech Festival Winners — 3-Peat Warriors

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Tafuna High School has done it again. They were named winners of the 2023 Secondary Speech Festival and hailed a three-peat victory.

According to the Department of Education, the Warriors were the overall winners; Fagaitua was second and Leone came in third at the Festival that took place last week.

Impromptu Speech: 1. Samoana 2. Tafuna 3. Manu’a

Oral Interpretation of Literature: 1. Samoana 2. Leone 3. Tafuna

Story Telling: 1. Leone 2. Fagaitua 3. Manu’a

Dual Acting: 1. Tafuna 2. Leone 3. Fagaitua

Free Style Poetry: 1. Fagaitua 2. Leone 3. Tafuna

Original Script Writing 1. Fagaitua 2. Tafuna 3. Samoana

Contemporary Choral Recitation: 1. Tafuna 2. Samoana 3. Fagaitua

Other schools that competed were Kanana-fou, Nuuuli Vocational, Technical High School and Fa’asao Marist.
