Police net as many as 10 people in drug raid over the weekend

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Close to 10 people were arrested over the long holiday weekend following a police raid of a family home in Pago Pago.  Police executed an arrest warrant and during the raid uncovered methamphetamine drug paraphernalia. Efforts were made to get official comments from the Department of Public Safety but were unsuccessful at first but later Deputy Commissioner Foifua Foifua did comment to Samoa News. The people detained will appear in the District Court on Monday morning. More details in Monday's edition
