TBAS hopes to alleviate coin shortage with shipment of coins

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The Territorial Bank of American Samoa has been granted permission to order a second, sizable coin shipment for the Territory.

This was confirmed in a statement issued by the only bank in the territory. 

 “The bank has submitted the order request, and the shipment is scheduled to arrive on or around November 30, 2022.

 “All business customers of Territorial Bank are encouraged to immediately submit a reasonable quantity order request to the bank.

 “The Coin Order Form is available on the bank’s website, upon request at either branch location, or via email request to [email protected].”

The statement says the Territorial Bank will provide more information regarding time, date, and process for coin order pickup as we get closer to the arrival date of the coin shipment.
