Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Senators met last week Saturday and will meet on Saturday’s for the next two weeks to ensure the 45 days of sessions per year conclude as slated on October 14.
The suggestion was made by Senator Magalei Logovi’i last week, and was endorsed by 11 Senators including the Senate President, Tuaolo Manaia Fruean.
Tuaolo said this is the only way the Senate will finish its work on schedule is to meet on weekends for three weeks starting on 24 September, 2022.
