StarKist Samoa names new plant director

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The StarKist family held a gathering at DDW Beach Café on Friday evening, July 29, 2022 to bid farewell to their outgoing plant director Jason Kim (second from far right). Kim led StarKist in reaching several accomplishments in his 3-year tenure including achieving the highest volume produced in a day.

Taking over the helm from Kim is Mr. Injoo Ha (far left), whose background includes overseeing the StarKist cannery in Senegal. Mr. Kim only wanted as a parting gift a photo of him and the Packing Room employees and he was all smiles when he was presented a blown-up photo canvas with parting messages from the employees.
