SYEP Kicks Off photo & caption

Some of the participants in the 2022 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) posed for a Samoa News photo at the Veterans Memorial Stadium yesterday, during the opening of this year’s program. Registration began at 7:30a.m followed by the Opening Ceremony at 9a.m. The government funded employment program runs through Aug. 19 for a duration of 8-weeks and allows youth to experience work environments in a variety of fields, both in the government and private sectors — while earning a paycheck.
