Wind turbine project Town Hall scheduled

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Tutuila Wind Energy LLC of American Samoa (“TWE”) would like to invite the general public to our first voluntary town hall meeting to explain the Tutuila Wind Farm Project.

In partnership with the American Samoa Power Authority (ASPA), this renewable energy project will provide significant relief to the cost of electricity and allow American Samoa to be less dependent on fossil fuels. TWE will explain details of the project, the companies behind the project and what you can expect from this project.

The town hall meeting will be on Saturday, June 18 2022, from 10 AM to 11:30 AM at the American Samoa Community College Multipurpose Center

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions as well as the venue capacity, we will allow the first 100 participants.

The Declaration of Ongoing Public Health Emergency and State of Emergency as of 27 May 2022 will be followed and mask mandates for indoor gatherings will be enforced.
