South Pacific Academy’s Michael Sun, who has just been accepted to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, is pictured here (left) in 2018 at a Scripps Spelling Bee event in Washington, D.C.  That year as an 8th grader he won the Samoa News Territorial Spelling Bee and was one of the first place winners at the Territorial Math Competition.
