Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The three new nominees to the Board of Directors of the American Samoa Power Authority are cleared to serve on the board overseeing the territory’s water, electricity, waste disposal and sewer services provider.
The House of Representatives on Friday approved by unanimous vote Afalava Eliki Afalava, Leilua Stevenson and Theodore Ted Le’iato.
The vote was 13-0 for each nominee. The trio has already been approved by the Senate.
Also passed by unanimous vote by the House was an administration bill establishing a Samoan Language Commission.
