Gov appoints acting boss for Visitors Bureau

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Through a June 2nd memorandum, Gov. Lemanu Peleti Palepoi Sialega Mauga announced that American Samoa Visitors Bureau executive director Taimalelagi Minnie P. Tuia will be absent from her post beginning June 1st.

And he therefore designated Visitors Bureau’s marketing manager, Tamiano Gurr as acting director until Taimalelagi returns to her post.

The governor, in the memo addressed to cabinet members, requested that everyone give Gurr their full support and cooperation.
