Some of the many employees from the Department of Human and Social Services who participated in a “wave” on Wednesday afternoon in Utulei, to bring suicide prevention and awareness messages to the community. September was National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and was observed in American Samoa, with a declaration issued by Gov. Lolo Matalasi Moliga.
