ASPA urges customers to keep the ‘green’ trash bins clean

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — In a statement last week, the American Samoa Power Authority advised all customers utilizing the green-trash Bins around the island to “help us keep them secure and clean” and suggested these customers work together with ASPA to keep the island clean.

Important issues to note are: keep bins closed to avoid rain and overflow; keep Bulky Waste and Scrap Metal at a secure location or at your house so we can schedule pick up; keep the area around the Bins clean; and do not place trash bags or other waste on the side of Bins.

ASPA says it has a separate service for Bulky Waste and Scrap Metal. To schedule a pick up at your house or a secure location call 699-1234.
