House confirms TBAS board members

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Two continuing members and one new appointee are now cleared to serve as members of the Board of Directors of the Territorial Bank of American Samoa after being confirmed by the House of Representative this week.

The three board members were confirmed by the Senate last week.

Salaia Gabbard was confirmed by a vote of 13-2; Papalii Laulii Alofa received a vote of 11-4 while Iulogologo Joseph Pereira who is new to the board, filling the vacancy created by the passing of Steve Watson, was confirmed by a vote of 12-3.
