All Veterans – American Samoa Representatives

Three months ago, a Veteran from my village was in Hawai’i for his monthly check-up at Queen’s Hospital. Unfortunately, he had passed away.

Due to restrictions related to COVID-19, this Veteran and his family are now stranded in Hawai’i. The Veteran’s family want to bring him home so they can organize a special tribute service to honor him. He survived the Vietnam War including several tours to Vietnam. He risked everything for a country of people, many of whom, would never know his name. He was a courageous hero and we all appreciate the sacrifices and bravery he has given to protect our country and freedom.

All our “Toa o Samoa” have allowed this country to continue to enjoy the freedom and privileges that are so often taken for granted.

Please, help bring our Veteran home to be laid in his final resting place.

Judy Taufete’e,

Advocate for the Veterans and their families
