Aftermath of Scanlan building fire

Aftermath of the Scanlan building fire that burned Friday afternoon. Mary Scanlan noted that it probably was a ‘wiring’ problem that caused the fire, but the investigation will officially begin on Monday. Buildings to the sides and in the back look like they survived with minimum damage.  Spectators said the fire department responded slowly, despite being located just one building away.
