Pago Pago AMERICAN SAMOA — In this dark time one local business has become a beacon of light for many families gifting food hampers and money to employees.
Samoa’s leading computer and software companies Island Business Center (IBC) and sister company Le Fofo Spa in Nuuli have provided these gifts to thank staff.
Owner, Mrs Solamalemalo Fualau Tualagafou Nofoagatotoa gave all her staff gifts of meat and money saying they need a boost during this hard time.
“My staff are the backbone of my business and their commitment even during this difficult time, has been inspiring. This is the very least I can do to show how thankful I am”.

According to Mrs Nofoagatotoa some of her staff members come from families who have been affected by the Covid 19.
“Any support we can give we will. The giving is a bitter-sweet event because it also marks 5 years since her late husband Afoa Titi Nofoagatotoa passed away.
“He would have been very proud of how far we have come as a family business and much of what we do is in his memory.
He would always encourage us to support our employees. Our success has occurred because of their hard work and commitment,” she said.

Managing Director of IBC and Le Fofo Spa, Tuala Kennedy Nofoagatotoa, says every business in Am Samoa including IBC is feeling the negative effect of Covid 19.
Despite the hurdles IBC and Le Fofo Spa push ahead to maintain its commitment of serving the people of Am. Samoa.
“Rewarding our staff is the least I can do as a way of thanking them for their hard work and dedication to the business.
“We honor my deceased father in our actions and his generosity inspires us. I thank our Heavenly father for the gift of my father and I will continue to carry on his legacy and Christian practice of giving,” he said.
