Commander Michael Tagaloa

Michael Tagaloa was promoted yesterday, February 25, 2020 — to U.S. Navy Commander. He is a Chaplain in the Navy currently serving at Camp Lejune in North Carolina. Commander Togaloa is seen here taking his oath. The ceremony was attended by his father, Vae Tagaloa from Afao as well as by relatives and friends. His mother is the late Evelyn Ufuti Tagaloa of Vaitogi, who passed away September 28, 2017. He has been serving as a Chaplain in the Navy and for the Marines the past 15 years. [photo: courtesy]
