"ARFF LETTER OF APOLOGY"

This is the official letter of apology to the public that was released last week Friday, Jan. 31, 2020 by the ARFF Section of the Pago Pago International Airport.

The letter does not specifically mention what “last week’s debacle” was that “has brought much ridicule and scorn to our section.” It further notes that the ARFF makes “no excuses for the actions of our colleagues involved nor do we pass blame to them. We do; however, take responsibility.”

As such, Samoa News has published the letter ‘as is’ — in it’s entirety — without supposition; leaving the ARFF to clarify its apology to the public.
