Miss SOFIAS at LBJ Pediatric Ward

Reigning Miss SOFIAS, Vanessa Ta’amu Simanu (far right) along with officers and members of the Sosaiete O Fa’afafine I Amerika Samoa (SOFIAS) visited the LBJ Medical Center Pediatric Ward earlier this week to hand out gifts to children in the unit. SOFIAS has made this a holiday tradition over the years; and this year, they went a step further and put up Christmas decorations so the young patients and their parents are able to feel the holiday spirit while away from home.
