The Department of Health (DOH) continues to move forward with the second round of mass distribution of filariasis pills, to protect the territory and its residents against lymphatic filariasis (elephantiasis). Last week, a DOH crew led by Dr. Tamara Buhagiar, medical entomologist from the Pacific Islands Health Officers Association, headed out to Aunu’u island to distribute pills for the residents there.
