American Samoa represented at SPED leadership conference

Arlington, VIRGINIA — Every year, the federal government’s Office of Special Education Programs hosts an Annual Leadership Conference in Virginia. This year’s theme was “Ideas that Work” and its focus is to implement the use of evidence-based practices and utilize data to improve Child Outcomes systems.

The leadership conference — held at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia — started Monday and ended yesterday

Representing American Samoa this year was the Helping Hands Part C program under the Department of Health and the Special Education Program, according to information provided to Samoa News.
