ASG Assistant Attorney General Doug Lowe

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The Attorney General’s Office has a new lawyer on staff.

ASG Assistant Attorney General Doug Lowe is from Texas. He is tasked with prosecuting felonies, with emphasis on white collar crime and fraud.

According to Lowe’s bio, which was shared prior to last week’s Chamber of Commerce meeting, Lowe served as the elected Anderson County Texas Criminal District Attorney for sixteen years.

He is a certified fraud examiner and personal injury trial lawyer.

Lowe’s undergraduate degree and law degrees were awarded by the University of Houston. He also received a Masters of Law in Risk Management from Texas A & M School of Law in December 2018.

In 2015, Lowe was appointed by Texas Governor Gregg Abbott as a Commissioner to the Texas Lottery Commission, where he set policies for the Texas Lottery and supervised the Charitable Bingo Divisions.

Lowe — who was the guest presenter at last Thursday’s Chamber of Commerce general meeting — is a frustrated Dallas Cowboys fan.
