Flannery graves at Satala

Tom Blake touches the gravestones in Pago Pago, of his friend Mark Flannery’s parents. Tom’s father George was buried at Satala Cemetery in 1975 after he passed away while working for the government. His mother Ellen passed away in Texas 25 years ago and her ashes were sent to a friend in Pago Pago, who promised to put her near her husband.  Tom recently visited on the cruise ship M.S. Amsterdam and was able to visit the graves, take a picture and assure Mark that his parents are resting together. [Source: San Clemente Times]
