Batch #7 of tax refunds will be released Friday

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Another round of tax refund checks — Batch #7 — is being released tomorrow, Friday, June 15th for those who filed between Feb. 5  and 14, according to ASG Acting Treasurer, Tina Va’a in a brief statement Tuesday.

Tomorrow’s run totals over $2.12 million — with $790,623 for local and over $1.33 million for the Additional Child Tax Credit, which is funded by the US Internal Revenue Service.

To assist taxpayers with tracking refunds, Treasury reminds tax filers to keep in mind their filing dates, as refund checks are disbursed accordingly. Questions can be forwarded to the Tax Office at 633-4181.
