Opening of 3rd Session of the 38th Legislature set for Monday

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — In a memorandum from the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Loa Tuimavave Laupola, dated Jan. 4, 2024, the Opening of the 38th Legislature — third regular session — has been announced for Monday, Jan 8, 2024. It will convene at the Gov. H. Rex Lee Auditorium in Utulei.

Per usual, Governor Lemanu P.S. Mauga will deliver the State of the Territory Address at the opening of the Fono.

The Opening is expected to begin around 10am and to be well attended by Cabinet and Fono members.
