This year, NOAA is celebrating 10 years since the National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa was established on September 12, 2012, and 50 years since the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries was created to protect and conserve American Samoa’s special underwater places.
The theme for the year is "Save Spectacular - Puipui Mata'ina” and the Sanctuary will be sharing anniversary celebration events in the near future.
The Ocean Center is asking that all visitors comply with local mandates of mask-wearing and maintaining social distance.
