No new developments from Search & Rescue in missing man search

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The Marine Patrol Division of the Department of Search and Rescue continued the search on Monday for Vincent Eti (inset) in the waters of Vatia and Afono, who was reported missing since last Friday. The Marine Patrol team is led by Chief Ina Ulberg who said they were first notified of the missing person on Sunday afternoon and their jet skis were dispatched.

They searched Vatia, Amalau and Afono but did not find any trace of the missing male, identified as Vincent Eti. The search will resume this morning. Eti was wearing a white tshirt and red shorts when he was last seen.

The Department of Public Safety asks anyone with information that may help in the search to please call 911 or 633-1111.
