Local Republicans journey to summer meeting

Charlotte, NORTH CAROLINA — Local Republicans Frank Barron and Party Chairman Taulapapa Will Sword were present at the Republican National Committee Summer Meeting last week in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Sword told attendees from all 50 states plus the territories about the Obama administrations restrictions placed on small businesses. Taulapapa also spoke about the importance of American Samoa’s relationship to the US due to China’s expansionist influence in Independent Samoa. 

Next Summer a delegation from American Samoa will head to Charlotte, North Carolina for the Republican Nation Convention where they will choose the parties nominees for President and Vice President.
