Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Twenty students from the home of the Stallions conquered another peak in their lives as they graduated from high school. Paramount Builders is proud to sponsor coverage of all of the 2022 American Samoa High School Graduations, and wishes all graduates a successful journey into the future.
On Thursday morning, Kanana Fou High School held a drive-through graduation ceremony at the compound. The ceremony was scheduled to begin at 8 a.m, but was pushed to 10 a.m.
The class Valedictorian Indira Lemana in an interview with Samoa News said that "hard work pays off".
From Falelatai and Ulumoega in Samoa, Indira is the daughter of Venasio Lemana and Ulua'i Lemana of Falelatai and Ulumoega.
"It is an honor to reach this achievement, but one thing that comes to mind is that hard work pays off."
Adding that she owes all to her parents.

"You know all my hard work has paid off; the sleepless nights and I owe this all to my parents for supporting me throughout all the four years of high school and throughout my whole academic life.
“And also to Kanana Fou high school for four years of education of high school."
She also spoke of the challenges faced during her school years.
"The difficulty of trying to balance the fun and the school like you can't do this because it'll affect your school. But you just gotta have that balance. You can study and have fun at the same time."
She concluded by congratulating all graduates of the territory.
"Congratulations to all the 2022 graduates of American Samoa and to other underclassmen of American Samoa.
"You are the future generation of American Samoa. Best of luck in your future endeavors."
The class Salutatorian Ianeta Fuataga was excited and happy that four years of hard work has concluded on a high note.
Ms Fuataga from Leone is the daughter Mele and Livingstone Fuataga.

"I'm so happy that I'm finally graduating and I'm so happy that I'm finally leaving. I don't know what the future has in store for me, but I can't wait and hopefully, I wish everyone here the best.
"I wish all of my classmates the best and I hope that in 10 years from now that I will see them again. And I'm also glad that I was able to be a Salutatorian for the class of 2022."
Fuataga will be pursuing a political science major in college with the hopes to work in the Executive office at Immigration.
