Island Wide Clean-up scheduled for Friday

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — Chief of Staff Loa Tuimavave T. Laupola congratulated ASG personnel for their successful efforts to spread Christmas cheer throughout the island with the 2023 holiday decorations and announced in a general memorandum that now it is time to clean up.

“All departments, agencies, offices, and authorities are expected to participate in the monthly Island Wide Clean-up” scheduled for Friday, Jan. 5, 2024.

The clean-up will focus on taking down Christmas decorations for each of the designated zones.

“Please ensure that all Christmas lights and decor are taken down by the end of that day. As always, your full support of the IWCC [Island Wide Clean-up Committee] is greatly appreciated. Your continued dedication and support of the Administration's efforts to serve our people is highly valued,” Loa said.
