House confirms 9 nominees for Territorial Planning Commission

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — The House of Representatives confirmed all 9 members of the Territorial Planning Commission (TPC) last week.

Both only 7 of them appeared before the House Government Operation Committee for a confirmation hearing last Thursday and Friday: Sala Filoiali’i Mataali’i; Aliitasi Afuola; HC Fonoti Simanu; Veevalu Meauta Mageo; Peter Crispin; Falana’i Ala, and Epesena Te’o Jennings. All of them received unanimous votes (14-0).

The two absent members were Sen. Fai’ivae Iuli Godinet and Rep. Fata Samuel Meleisea who were voted in, 13-1
