Gov’s chief-of-staff and dept. director off island on official biz

Pago Pago, AMERICAN SAMOA — In a Nov. 19th memorandum, Gov. Lemanu Peleti  Mauga announced that local Homeland Security Department (ASDHS) director, Samana Semo Ve’ave’a traveled off island on official business on Nov. 19th.

In his absence, the governor appointed deputy director Vinnie Atofau as acting director, until Samana returns on island.

In a separate memo, also dated Nov. 19th, the governor announced that his Chief of Staff, Tuimavave Tauapa’i Laupola traveled off island last week Friday on official business and he appointed deputy chief, Mrs. Lydia Amisone as acting chief of staff, until Tuimavave returns to the territory.
